Family Centred Practice: Colac EEP recognises the importance of parents and professionals working together as partners to achieve the best outcomes for children. This partnership involves providing support and information to families so they are aware of available service options and can make well informed decisions. Information is available about community services, carers allowance, carers payment, other Early Intervention Programs, and funding for respite and equipment.
Privacy: Each child has a confidential written file of relevant information which is stored securely. Information is only obtained from other services or provided to other services when a parent has signed a ‘Release of Report’ form.
